Gerald Lindstrom

Using knives and sandpaper on soft woods such as white pine, poplar, butterwood, and cypress, Lindstrom combines carving and painting into a unique art form.  He adds subtle tints and stains to accent his three dimensional creations, inviting the natural grain in each piece of wood to become an integral part of the picture.  The results are dramatic and unusual renderings of scenes from  nature, fields and farms.

Handsomely framed photographic prints of Lindstrom’s original woodcarvings are available in a variety of sizes.
